Scott K. Laudeman, CFA is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Madison Heights Advisors and has been in the financial services industry since 1993 including 18 years with BlackRock. He earned a B.S. degree from the University of Southern California (USC), cum laude, and an M.S. degree from the Colorado School of Mines. At USC, Scott was elected into Tau Beta Pi, the national engineering honor fraternity. Scott is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder. Scott leads the Ethics and Advocacy Group in The CFA Society Los Angeles, a member association of over 2,000 local investment professionals. In 2017, he was recognized for his volunteer work.
Scott is an advocate for the financial and investment needs of seniors and the elderly. He recently moderated a panel discussion to educate financial advisors on the unique issues facing seniors and the elderly. He presented a financial planning workshop for older members of a local church. Scott has spoken as part of the Caring with Faith program at Holy Family Church in South Pasadena.
Scott is an Eagle Scout, the father of three Eagle Scouts, and a former Scoutmaster. He is still active in the Boy Scouts as an adult leader.
